I've left a couple of comments but they don't seem to show up? Their not offensive are they? I do want to see this film but has not been widely shown in Toronto. I have relatives in the former DDR and late Mom told me there were some among them who reported some of them to the Stasi for favours. I'm watching the fire situation closely as we are flying to Athens on Sunday. It is incredibly sad and we consider it terrorism...ciao

Hi rositta,

I didn't delete any comments of yours. At the moment moderation is "off", so if your comment does not show up on the page right away, then it didn't arrive. For comments to work, you need to have cookies enabled (you likely have) and go first to look at the "Preview", then "Post" the comment in the second step (you probably noticed that too, but I sometimes see people not getting that 2nd step).

The film wasn't shown that widely here either I believe. In any case we were very late to seeing it, the "summer" open air cinemas are usually the last ones to show a film, most of them show old "cinefile" films all the time.

As for the fire situation... what can I say? In Athens the direct situation has calmed down. The fires in the immediate surroundings are out, the big cloud of smoke we had on Saturday is gone. But the place is less happy than usual, with such a tragedy to stomach.

Hey, hey, it worked. Great, I'm glad to hear about the fires although now I heard there had been an earthquake. Geesh, all the places that are on my list to see are in trouble...ciao
ps. your internet advice links were helpful to me, thanks.
